Wilbert’s Christmas tree farm is a family owned and operated tree farm located in beautiful upstate New York. Originally planted by Art Wilbert over 50 years ago for screening and environmental reasons, the purpose and popularity of the trees quickly changed! Wilbert’s Christmas tree farm has now been selling trees for 37 years on the original plantation that has been in the Wilbert family for over 100 years. Today the farm has grown to the size of over 100 acres with roughly 180,000 trees currently planted.
Don’t forget to bring your camera when you come to Wilbert’s. We have a life size Nativity scene with live animals that has been displayed for nearly 30 years. Considered a statewide attraction the Christmas Story is told using voice and lights every six minutes. Allowing everyone the opportunity to enjoy the real meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus. We also have giant sized 10 feet tall candy cane measuring sticks. That will also help determine the proper height your tree should be to comfortably fit into your home. Combine our giant candy canes with our life size motorized Santa’s sleigh and nobody can pass up the perfect picture opportunity. We want to make sure that this is something you can remember forever.
At Wilbert’s Christmas tree farm we strive to improve both tree quality and customer conveniences every year to ensure you a joyous and memorable Christmas tree experience. Many of the services we provide are free to our customers. We provide ample off road parking, have stoned trails, and convenient restrooms. We stock a large supply of saws, carts, and rope. As well as shaking, trimming, and bailing all of which is no extra cost to our customers.
Our price Is $30.00 for any size or variety of cut your own tree. We offer nine varieties to choose from: Douglas; Frasier, and Concolor Fir; Austrian; Scotch; and White Pine; Norway; White; and Colorado blue spruce. Our pre-cut trees are fresh cut daily and are $35.00 for firs. All of our trees are guaranteed not to excessively shed needles.
