Wilbert’s History

Wilbert’s was founded in 1952 by Arthur Wilbert. Art was a family man first and a business man second, he was able to craft one of the largest and most modern automotive recycling facilities in all of New York. Art made sure to take care of each and every vehicle on his lot with the care of a new car. Cars that needed to be taken apart for parts are meticulously catalogued and treated with the utmost care. Cars and car service was his passion, but raising Christmas Trees was his love. Starting from humble beginnings of growing and raising Christmas Trees for his family, friends, and neighbors eventually Art’s tree farm grew to over the 100 acres of land they have today. Wilbert’s Christmas Trees have become a family name when it comes to finding the perfect Christmas Tree every year. After Art passed away he has since passed down his business to his sons, whom maintain the great passion that Art had for his business and continue to maintain family as a part of the Wilbert name.
